Why screen a litter?

Some inherited eye conditions are congenital, meaning they are present from birth. Screening a litter while the puppies are young allows these conditions to be identified early.

Puppies are screened between 5 and 12 weeks of age. Early screening helps breeders make responsible decisions and gives new owners confidence about the litter they are taking a puppy from.

  • Detect congenital hereditary conditions before puppies go to new homes.
  • Support responsible breeding and protect the wider breed line.
  • Give new owners reassurance about their puppy's eyes.

Pricing

£65 for the first puppy, then £12.50 for each additional puppy. A £25 deposit secures the appointment and is deducted from your total.
